8 GOOD HABITS FOR A STRONG START OF THE DAY

We all have the morning rituals that help us wake up and get ready for the new day. According to some researches, the right morning routine can increase our productivity because your will is stronger in the morning. A strong start gives us the best lead.

Mornings are the most important time of the day, so a strong and positive beginning sets the flow of the day. We just need to establish good habits to stick to and reap the benefits. The result of everything we do is the best when we are aware of it.

  1. Get up at 7:00 AM

It’s just a suggestion! If you find it too hard, 8:00 will do too. Don’t waste your day sleeping. Sleep is indeed very important, we need 7-8 hours of sleep a day, what’s wrong in our case is going to bed late. It’s time to say “No”! Mom says it best: “It’s 10:00 PM, go to bed”. Do an experiment, for a week try to go to bed no later than 10:00 PM and feel the difference.

  1. Start the day with a glass of warm honey water

Why not add a slice of ginger too? Lemon helps boost your metabolism and improves the assimilation of nutrients. Ginger quickens blood circulation and wakes you up faster. No need talking about the benefits of honey, we all know about them.

  1. Exercise

No matter if it’s a short or a long session, as long as there is one. It’s hard to get up earlier to sweat and get tired, but give it a try with a few light exercises that don’t stress you. There’s nothing better for your mind and body than an active beginning.

4. Eat healthy and tasty breakfast

We will not talk about diets but focus on food with nutrients – vitamins, minerals, good fats, less added sugar, and so on. Just eat clean foods. It should not be depressing to start with a good piece of cake 🙂

  1. Read or watch something inspirational

Even if it’s only inspiring phrases or fortune cookies. It may be anything you like as long as it makes you smile and think: Today I’m gonna rule!

  1. Five things you are grateful for

You can put them down (it’s more impressive) or just say them to yourself, what’s important is to really feel grateful. Honestly, realise how much you already have! A major problem of contemporary society is not realising what we have. But that’s another story…

  1. Plan the day

We have to admit that in most cases planning is highly ineffective because plans just don’t work out. But they can at least guide us through the day, also, the chances of forgetting something are lower.

  1. Start with the most difficult task of the day

It may seem more tempting to begin the day with the most pleasant task, but think about it, in the morning you have the most energy and drive (especially if you adopt the aforementioned habits), so deal with the hardest tasks early and leave the easier ones for the end of the day.

Well… we hope we were helpful 🙂 If you have any other suggestions, we are willing to hear about them.
